CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) UPDATES

BLiNG Entertainment and Events is working with local, county and state partners to help prevent the spread of coronavirus and protect the well-being of the community at our upcoming events.

Cancellations/postponements

It’s with a heavy heart that we must announce the following community events have been canceled in 2020 due to COVID-19 . There is no higher priority for us than the health, safety and physical well-being of each of you, together with everyone involved in the production of these events. We look forward to seeing you at other BLiNG events this year and/or in 2021. In the meantime, stay healthy and well.

  • Green Valley Ranch Summer Concert Series

  • Green Valley Ranch Firework Spectacular

  • Festival Italiano (Belmar)

  • TBD Kids Arts Quest (Check Back Shortly For Updates)

What ELSE is BLING doing?

At this time, we are taking the actions listed below (in addition to the cancellations above); this plan will be updated as needed, based upon the evolving situation. We are working with our partners, city, county, state and federal offices, and other partner organizations to coordinate our operations in the event of a worsening public health risk.

Here at BLiNG Entertainment and Events, we are doing our part by practicing social distancing, working remotely, and leaving only for emergency purposes. Without exception our clients are accepting Federal and State guidance and have cancelled all events for at least the next 30 days and some more already in June and early July.

Clients / Vendors: You will be contacted via phone or email. Each Tuesday and / or Wednesday we will be holding calls and receiving updates from key clients so we can update plans as needed, based upon the evolving situation. Key decisions regarding major late spring, summer or fall events will continue to be evaluated on a daily / weekly basis.

BLiNG’s clients are looking ahead and planning events for coming months and even looking toward 2021 and beyond. The fall and holiday months are looking strong - and we urge you to start discussing holiday plans with us ASAP.

How You Can Help:

  • Personally - Stay Healthy and do everything you can to help slow this virus spread.

  • Business - If you are asked for a secondary performance date for an event we have already confirmed, I would ask you to consider our holds to be a priority hold, just in case we need to move a large event to a new date and time instead of cancelling it all together or getting a new artist.

  • Business - If you receive a new proposal request form BLiNG please do your best to respond right away, as we will continue to work hard to bring on the gigs/event orders for you.

  • Business – We will not be in the office full time, so If you are holding for an event and have not heard its status 2 weeks prior to the event, please contact me by email and I will follow up. There are lot of moving parts we are tracking, so your understanding with this rapidly changing situation is appreciated.

  • Business – Once we get ramped up again, we may need team members to help execute events – performers if you are not performing but would like other sub-contract hourly work, we will likely be able to provide that work.

  • Personally – Remember you are not alone - stay positive ! This will eventually end and we will all look back and realize it brought us together as a people in a way we could have never imagined.

If you need a helping hand, reach out to us or others in the industry; we all know what we are going through and the impact it is having. We’re here to help our larger family (our industry) as we navigate this – again you are not alone. We look forward to when we can all come together again and produce events for the community we all love! We will make it through and we will come out on the other side stronger and better than ever!
